Old Fashioned Chocolate Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Old Fashioned Chocolate Oatmeal Cookie Bars

These cookie bars taste similar to a “no bake” cookie, minus the peanut butter and minus the somewhat off-putting texture of the no bake. Use the best quality chocolate that you can, and you will be glad you did! Good ingredients usually = good end-result. Bad ingredients never do.

In a different bowl combine the dry ingredients. Add slowly to the wet ingredients and press into a parchment lined 9×13 inch pan. Set aside.

Get 6oz of some decent chocolate. I have chosen Dove milk chocolate, in my opinion is a chocolate with a creamy texture, smooth does not feel greasy, it is delicate on the palate. This is my favorite chocolate brand
