Do you crave one size tarts “bite” with the refreshing taste of lemon? To me the things I love small bites, so I bring this recipe created by Wada. A very talented girl in the kitchen with his creations has inspired me. Hope you like. The ingredients are few and easy to prepare. Here I present the “Small Bites of Lemon” by Wada.

INGREDIENTS
Base of cake: (for 8 tartlets)
- 5 oz. flour
- 3 oz. butter
- 2 oz. powdered sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon of cold milk
Lemon-Curd
- 2 lemons
- 2 eggs
- 4 oz. icing sugar
- 2 oz. butter
PREPARATION
To the base of cake: Mix all the ingredients in the mixer or by hand.
Roll out the dough and place in small tarts, prick the base with a fork and bake 12-14 minutes at 180 º. Booked and unmold when completely cool (if your hot unmold it, will be broken)
For the Lemon-Curd:
First grate the lemons (yellow part only) second: get the juice (of those lemons). Put the juice in a bowl along with the eggs and sugar, mix. Boil over medium heat, stirring until it begins to thicken (being careful not to boil).
And cast aside the butter into small pieces and mix.
Allow to cool and took it to the refrigerator to completely cool before filling the tarts.
