Coffee & Kahlúa Crazy Cake (no eggs, milk or butter)

I like this cake is very moist and delicious. This has a toke of Kahlua (Yummy!) I like to incorporate liquor in my cakes, chocolate liquor, liqueur caramel this cake is unique!

Coffee & Kahlúa Crazy

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 Tbsp. Natural Unsweetened Cocoa (I used Hershey’s )
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • You can skip this step using dark chocolate cake mix
  • 1 tsp. white vinegar
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 5 Tbsp. coconut oil
  • 3/4 Cup strong coffee (I use supreme Colombian, you need to be at room temperature)
  • 1/4 Cup Kahlúa (or coffee liqueur)

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    if you decide to do it from scratch, then in a large bowl mix flour, cocoa, sugar, baking soda and salt, (if you use cake mix box just skip this step)
    place on a greased 9×9 pan.
  2. Make 3 depressions in dry ingredients -( Look at the images step by step)
  3. Pour vinegar in one depression, vanilla in the other and the coconut oil in third larger depression.
  4. In another bowl mix the coffee and Kahlúa and pour over all.
  5. Mix well until smooth.
  6. Bake for 35 minutes.
  7. Using a toothpick see that is cooked when the toothpick comes out dry
    cool completely and if you want to cover with your favorite chocolate coverage
  8. Enjoy!
