5.00mm Crochet Hook
60g DK Yarn {8ply}
Scissors
Tapestry/Wool Needle
45cm Ribbon
Small Handful of Pearls & Beads
Sewing Needle
Thread

Row 1~ Taking your yarn and 5.00mm crochet hook, start of by making a Slip Knot. Then crochet 4 Chains.
Crochet 1 Half Double Crochet into the 3rd chain from your hook. Then crochet 1 Half Double Crochet into the next stitch. You should have 3 half double crochets now.
Row 2 -42~ Chain 2. Crochet 1 Half Double Crochet into the same stitch. Crochet 1 Half Double Crochet into the next stitch. {Note: You can either add or take away a couple of rows depending on your head’s circumference.}
When you’ve completed all the rows, connect the two ends of the headband together to create a circle and Slip Stitch them together. Once the band is slip stitched together fold the slip stitched part towards the inside.
Now, Chain 1. Then Single Crochet all around the band.
Fasten off, and weave in loose ends.

Crown Points

Start of by attaching your yarn to the first stitch along the length of your crown’s band.
Round 1~ Chain 1. Single Crochet into the same stitch. *Crochet 1 Single Crochet into the next stitch. Chain 2, then skip two stitches before crocheting 1 Single Crochet into the next 3 stitches, then Chain 2. Repeat from the * mark 8 times all around the band, making sure to end with a Single Crochet in the last stitch. Slip Stitch into the top of chain 1.

Round 2~ Chain 1. Single Crochet into the same stitch. *Skip one stitch, and in the chain 2 space you made in the previous round crochet 3 Double Crochets, 1 Triple Crochet, Chain 1, 1 Double Triple Crochet, Chain 1, 1 Triple Crochet and 3 Double Crochets. Skip a stitch, then crochet a Single Crochet. Repeat from the * mark all around. Slip Stitch into the top of chain 1. You should have 10 crown points now. {Note: You’ll need to add an extra crown point for every 3 extra rows your crocheted to enlarge the band.}

Once you’ve finished the crown, take the 45cm of ribbon and weave it through the crowns band, all around. Taking your sewing needle and thread, embellish your crown with pearls and beads.
